"Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen."
Ephesians 3:20-21

We at FBC Tuscaloosa want more of Jesus every day and we desire that each of us seeks to pursue the Lord more intentionally this year than ever before. To help in that pursuit the ministry staff has compiled a devotional and reading guide for each quarter in 2024.
We will emphasize each of the four “M’s” of our mission statement in respective quarters. Our first quarter’s emphasis is “Magnify More.” To magnify the Lord is to worship him with all we have. When we magnify the Lord we recognize his purpose for our lives, the centrality of Jesus for our salvation, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit to bring glory to God in and through us. In short, magnifying the Lord is a way of life devoted to honoring and glorifying God.

Each week includes a reflection written by a member of our pastoral staff. Use this reading and the related scripture passage as one of your daily devotions during the week. For two of the other days, read the additional suggested portions of Scripture. The January readings focus on how we magnify Christ as a church. In February, we will read about magnifying Christ in smaller groups and within our family. During March, we will consider how we can magnify Christ more in our everyday individual lives.
